Jio has launched an all-new Jio Game Controller in the country. It is claimed to offer a long-lasting rechargeable battery and a lightweight design with a familiar, Xbox controller-like button layout. The gaming controller is equipped with vibration motors and two pressure-point triggers that will offer an immersive gaming experience. It is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled Android devices, including Android TVs and tablets and offers a wireless range of up to 10 meters.
The Jio Game controller measures 153x58x110mm in dimensions and weighs about 200 grams. On the flip side, it has a micro-USB port for charging.

The Jio Game Controller is priced at Rs 3,499 and is available via Jio’s official website. There’s also an EMI offer for the controller for customers buying it. The gaming controller ships within 3-5 business days, as per the Jio website.

The Jio Game Controller is compatible with Android tablets and smart TVs but the company suggests users pair it with Jio Set-Top-Box, which was unveiled in August 2019, for a better gaming experience. It features Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity for a low-latency experience during gaming sessions and offers a wireless range of up to 10 meters, which is pretty decent for a gaming controller.
The gaming controller comes with a rechargeable Li-ion battery that is claimed to last up to 8 hours of backup. It charges via the micro-USB port. There’s a 20-button layout, including two pressure-point triggers and an 8-direction arrow button. It has two joysticks and is equipped with two vibration feedback motors and haptic control.
